Steel Surveys
Our dedicated department for steel products, is formed by broadly experienced personnel who is constantly involved in inspections of every kind of steel cargo both in ports or at shore warehouses / installations. Those inspections are carried out for P&I, traders, shippers and receivers y are comprehesive of semi-finished and finished products. We elaborate our own reports on the following main areas:
- Inspection at mills / shore warehouses,
- Packaging inspections,
- Preshipment inspections,
- Inspecction of vessel’s fitness to transport steel products,
- Discharge surveys,
- Damage inspections,
- Inspections at final recevers premises,
- Study of the cause of the damages for which we can also coordinate with local laboratories, metallographic analysis of steel formats,
- Appraisal of damages, without compromise.
